Describe your most Amazing encounter with God.
On a Cold, Windy, Snowy, Wintry day a while back, I recall having the desire to go to Eucharistic Adoration. Not having frequented Adoration in the past, I was immediately struck with the calming sense of God within that church! It was one of the most beautiful moments of my life sitting there in the warmth, the scent of incense in the air, spending time with the Lord! It really gave me a sense that God’s power and grace can calm any storm in life!

Why did you choose to go into seminary?
I worked for a few years after college in a great job, but just kept getting the feeling that I may be called to use my talents and life for something greater. The thought of being a priest just kept creeping into my life’s discernment. Upon learning about the priesthood and choosing a spiritual director, I was continuously drawn to the desire to serve God’s people in this truly unique way!

Favorite past time
Spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy just being outside and learning how to cook on-the-side.

What was your biggest obstacle to discerning Gods will?
The biggest obstacle for me was removing myself from “a comfortable life”, meaning my own apartment, my job and friends and trusting totally in God’s Will. I believe that in taking that Leap of Faith that God will take me from where I was and develop me into who he knows I will be!
